The Yamaha AG03MK2 and Yamaha AG03 are very similar in core purpose (both are 3-channel USB mixers/audio interfaces great for streaming/podcasting), but the MK2 is the updated and improved version of the original AG03 with several key enhancements.

• AG03MK2: Uses USB-C for connection/power—more modern and convenient.

2. Input/Output Improvements

• AG03: Basic AUX/line input (3-pole mini).

• AG03MK2: Upgraded 4-pole mini TRRS input/output that directly supports headsets/app devices—handy for phones and modern setups.

3. Control Features

• AG03: No physical mute button on the unit.

• AG03MK2: Adds a mute button on the mixer itself (and can be controlled via optional foot switch)—very useful when streaming. 

4. Internal Circuit & Sound

• AG03MK2 sports improved internal circuitry and DSP effects (COMP/EQ, REVERB, AMP SIM) for better sound quality and flexibility.

• AG03MK2 has broader support including updated control apps that work on iOS in addition to Windows/Mac.

The AG03MK2 is basically the same basic mixer concept as the AG03, but Yamaha modernized it with:
